IRCICA Manuscript Collection consists of 530 works under 284 titles relating to Islamic religion, history, literature and other fields, mainly in Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Chagatai, French and Italian. The collection was formed by way of purchase and donation. Manuscript works have been donated to IRCICA by scholarly and cultural personalities from various countries including H.H. Prince Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Emir of Sharjah, U.A.E., and Prof. Dr. Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, ex-Secretary General of OIC. Among the works with distinct features such as uniqueness or antiquity, the oldest dated is Kenzü’l-Letâif fî Ma‘rifeti’z-Zarâif dated 734/1334. Full-text digitization of the manuscript works continues. The printed Catalogue of IRCICA Manuscript Collection was prepared in 2025.
