Description
1v-84v; Title from fol.1r, bottom edge; Name of the author from fol.1r; Colophon dated 998 (1590); A loose translation of the 21st risala of Rasail Ikhwan al-Safa.
Layout: Written in 25 lines per page, one column in gold and black borders (1v-2r in gold, black and blue borders), some poems in 3 or 4 columns.
Script: Calligraphic nastaliq script, name of the author and the title in riqa` script, black ink with headers, overlinings and dots (durak) in red and blue, unwan in white.
Decoration: Illuminated unwan in gold background; dots (durak) with gold (1r).
Binding: Brown leather binding, with gold borders.
A few stains and wormholes, but a good copy.
With watermark; Catchwords present.
