1v-314r; Title from fol.1r, bottom edge; Name of the author supplied by cataloguer; A loose Turkish translation of the Persian Anwar-i suhayli of Husayn b. Ali Waiz al-Kashifi (d.1504), which in turn was a translation of the Kalila wa Dimna fables of Ibn al-Muqaffa (d.756); Undated, but probably copied in the 17th century.
A few marginal corrections (sah); 2 stamps on fol.1r; they are unreadable due to the papers sticking together; A stamp (fol.1v); Fevaid: A Turkish poem (fol.315v).
Layout: Written in 23 lines per page, one column in gold, black and red borders.
Script: Naskh script, black ink with headers, some phrases and dots (durak) in red.
Decoration: Fine illuminated unwan in gold and color (fol.1v).
Binding: Red leather binding with decorations and borders in gold, flap missing.
A few repairs, stains and wormholes, not effecting the text, an excellent copy.
