Ziyad Ebüzziya (1911–1994) was a politician, writer, and journalist. His grandfather Ebüzziya Tevfik and his father Talha Ebüzziya were both important figures of the Turkish press. Ziyad Ebüzziya donated a collection of 1271 photographs published in the newspaper Tasvîr-i Efkâr between 1919 and 1925 to the IRCICA Library and Archive. The photographs depict scenes from the Turkish War of Independence, as well as from sports events, mostly in Istanbul, and criminal cases from the period.
