Abstract

Mr. Gürgören expresses his admiration of the invitation, by the ambassador, of some leading personalities from Azerbaijan to Berlin in order to learn their views on the important problems of their country. Then he provides historical, geographical, economical information on Azerbaijan. He notes its important role in the Caucasus and the role of the Caucasus against the danger posed by the Slavic world He proposes that against this danger a strong relationship should be developed between the Germanic world and the Muslim world, and that the independence and unity of Caucasia should be secured He also proposes the establishment of a national organization in Berlin or elsewhere supporting the struggle for the freedom of Azerbaijan.
