Description
1v-515v; Title and the name of the compilor Fathali Qacar-i Qazwin from fol.1v; The other title "Lugat-i Etrakiyye" supplied by cataloguer; The dictionary arranged alphabetically; It is based on the works of Ali Şir Nevai (1441-1501); The book written in 1277 (1861); Undated, but probably copied in the 19th century.
Marginal notes contains corrections and added entries; In some cases, the learned annotator has crossed out parts of the main text (which remain legible, however) and substituted his own interpretations. Ownership note on fol.1v, dated 1333 (1915).
Layout: Written in 17 lines per page, one column.
Script: Naskh script; Marginal notes nastaliq; Black ink with headers, overlinings and dots (durak) in red, Chagatai entries vocalized.
Decoration: Papercutting on a flyleaf.
Binding: European-style modern binding.
Repairs and stains, but a good copy.
