A postcard sent in 04.09.1928 from Pişte to his sister-in-law at the Abud Efendi Mansion in Kandilli, mentioning that they had received extraordinary applause since setting foot on Turkish soil, that this was something to be proud of for Turkish youth, but not for himself, and that every welcome was given by government officials.
